It had to happen sooner or later, the golf market being Segway’s primary consumer revenue stream: the Segway x2 Adventure.
I’d love to see how good this was on the North Shore…

Clearly a lot more adventurous than the Postal version, it still lacks in some rather important features, key among them being battery life. You can tilt and wobble yourself along at a face-flattening 12mph, but if speed’s your game, make sure you only go half an hour out of town, cos you’ll need the other half to get home before the battery dies.
Golfers should be OK in that respect, but the rated carrying capacity is only 118kg – unless I’m very much mistaken, that’s about a golfer and a half… the heavy clubs will have to ride on another Segway with a svelte Filipino caddyboy at the helm.

If you still covet the Segway technology, but think the two-wheeler is just a little bit gay, hold out for the Concept Centaur… can travel on 4 wheels controlled by thumbstick, or just on the back wheels as the ultimate wheelie machine!
