Burst Attention Span

It's been a disastrous month for my data, what with the PC blowing up a few weeks ago and then my website getting deleted. Of course, I'm no stranger to data-loss as my pile of unresponsive Firewire drives will attest, but we try to recover what we can… For the job of getting my files off my dead PC and into my new one, I wanted to get a drive casing and transplant the IDE into it. Now I don't need to, this SATA/EIDE to USB 2 cable will be perfect.

Nice body mod. Not wanting to see the Ken version. Having said that, a crawling Action Man with the same mod would look like he was trying to wiggle into the PC.

Politician's PDA pisses off paper. Moral: Close your eyes, take a deep breath and count to ten.

Dutch designers Vlieger & Vandam have a cute solution for those of us who worry that a laptop bag is an invitation to be mugged. I think I'd enjoy carrying this around to meetings. Taking a closer look at the astonishingly affordable new Mac mini, I spotted an amusing disclaimer at the bottom of the page… Keyboard, mouse, megaphone and display sold separately. Megaphone or not, I want one. I've been using a G3 Powerbook with a broken display for about 2 years, so the basic concept is already working for me ;-)
